The 2010 Dubai show was a full success for MediaLas.
Along with our local partner, GTech, we where exhibiting with new and fresh
ideas. Against all other competitors, who showed the "normal" laser shows or
projections, we where incorporating a sphere screen into our shows, which
astonished the crowd with 3-dimensional projections. Two Infinity RGB
projectors, amongst several AttaXX, PowerVX, and other projectors, where
shown. The impressive demo resulted in very professional contacts, and we
where asked by several local authorities for similar shows.
Regardless of the ash cloud over europe, we where able
to return safely to Germany after the trade show.
A big thanks goes to the organizers of the PALME show
for their help and respect.

restaurants and attractions. The bowling area is equipped with 5 MediaLas
laser projectors Infinity and AttaXX, 3 remote controlled motorized screens,

Bless on tour! For his german tour,
german musician and artist Roland Bless was supported by MediaLas laser
systems. Concerts took place in churches, open air venues, islands on Neckar
river, and other beautyful locations. Five laser projectors, Infinity and
PowerVX, where used, all controlled by Mamba 2.0 software system.
Needless to say, the show and tour was a
great success, and we are very happy to see Roland perform again with PUR in
the next couple of months, before he goes back to his own solo project.

This year´s ProLight & Sound
trade show in Frankfurt was a big success for MediaLas and our actual
product line. The new booth concept, which showed the power and bandwidth of
the MediaLas product line, exalted the visitors more than ever, which lead
to a sensational response, both at the stand, and in public. The stand held
7 laser projectors, all controlled through Mamba Black software, wired via
network cable and LAN protocol.
The german online magazine, LaCheck, stated: "MediaLas
convinced the audience not by the biggest stand, but with the really
impressive laser show and the very saturated colors, which went far beyond
other, bigger, stands."
While other exhibitors faced the first problems and
break downs from the first day of the exhibition, and exchanged their
defective projectors in regular turns, the Infinity and PowerVX projectors
worked the entire day long without any problems. The concept of the Infinity
got finally confirmed once again at the last day of the show, when the "100%
adjustment free" projector of another laser supplier showed a clear
misalignment in the color convergence. This wouldn´t have happened with the
Infinity!

New visitor record at MediaLas seminar days and Mamba Contest!
Never ever before, the MediaLas power days draw more attention to laserists, and never before the entries for the Mamba Contest where that professional, as they where for 2008!
There were two seminars in the fully packed MediaLas demo room; one for Mamba basics and second for creativity in designing professional shows for the Mamba software system (held by Tobias Gebuhr). Both seminars were 100% filled, so some folks had to stand during the two hour presentations.
Finally, around 4:30 pm, the Mamba Contest started. Each show had to be qualified before Nov. 15to be in the contest presentation.
This year we didn't have a jury of professionals. Instead, the attendees judged the presentations which made it extremely fair to all participants. 15 shows were presented and after counting all votes from the ballots, the results where:
1. Place: Immortality- Tobias Gebuhr
2. Place: Jack Sparrow - Spectrabeam.de
3. Place: O Fortuna - Spectrabeam.de
Best Graphics show: Lord of the rings - LJ Thundercunt
Best Single-Frame Show: O Fortuna - Spectrabeam.de
MediaLas congratulates all winners and participants, and would like to thank all those who entered for sending in their shows.
Furthermore, we like to thank all friends, who made this fantastic contest going to happen.
