Control of your laser projector is a main issue. With the interface or controller, a show can be a success or a disaster, especially for non reliable interfaces from low cost vendors. MediaLas offers a line of controllers with fully compatible ILDA signal connectors, stand alone or slave mode.

With the NetPort LAN controller, we are starting into the new interfacing millenium of driving projectors directly through LAN.

Overview

The new HyperPort Pro USB interface is the standard interface, that comes with any Mamba Black or Mamba 2.0 package. It contains a fast ILDA interface with full RGB and blanking support, and a DMX interface with 512 DMX channels.

HyperPort Pro connects to the PC through standard USB. The internal double frame buffer eliminates latency delays, and increases the overall brightness of the laser projector. All outputs are buffered and protected against ESD. The size is half 19", so two HyperPort Pro interfaces can be mounted in a 19" rack, on a separate available mounting frame.

Almost unlimited number of HyperPort Pro USB interfaces can be connected on your computer, it just depends on computer hardware and number of USB ports. Each interface can be accessed independantly from Mamba. HyperPort Pro is fully hot plug´n´play, means, it can be disconnecter or switched on and off during show playback, and will automatically integrate itself into Mamba after reconnecting.

It is recommended, to use one or two interfaces per USB port. If more interfaces are connected, there could be a lower frame rate per interface.

DMX Memory  Management

Overview

NetPort leads the way to a new interfacing of laser projectors. It is a real time LAN-based interface card, with lets itself easily integrate into existing laser projectors or new developments. This eliminates any other interfaces, the projector will be connected directly to the computer via LAN cables.

NetPort enhances any laser projector to full LAN connectivity. Drive your laser projector from standard LAN line, by using CAT5 cable. No more analog ILDA signal cables are required. Additionally, NetPort offers internal memory for storing lasershow or laser animations, and replay them via DMX512 control line.

NetPort can be easily integrated into existing or new laser projector. It uses a single 12VDC voltage to run all functions. The IP address of NetPort can be adjusted, or simply controlled by DHCP systems.

NetPort also offers a DMX output, controlled by Mamba 2.0.

DMX Memory  Management

Overview

The showlaser system MEGAPLAY BOARD allows a PC-independent playback of Lasershows in ILDA-format under DMX-control, or external TTL control signals. An SD flash memory card is used as memory media, on which the shows are stored for playback. For editing the memorycard and setting up device parameters, a PC with Windows operating system and a simple flashcard reader is required. Selection of the show sequences and settings of various showparameters are controlled via standard DMX 512 signal line, while any DMX channel can be selected as the DMX start value.

SD card with preprogrammed animations included.
